Before the first Forever Knight War, when faction names were being proposed, some of the fans who wished to affiliate themselves with Janette suggested corbies (or bonnie wee corbies) as a name for their faction. A number of players in War One employed the name; and it was also used once in War Two. However, by that time, the faction had generally decided to call itself the Ravenettes (or Ravens, for male members of the faction).
