Introduction[]

The Forever Knight Episode Archives present a visual story board of each episode of Forever Knight through a series of consecutively presented screen captures. Originally created to help people who did not have access to the episodes after the show went off the air, the pictures are also used by authors to illustrate their Forever Knight fan fiction and create fan art.

The Maintainers[]

Created and maintained by Nancy A. Taylor.

The original collection of videotape-based screen captures remained available on its old website (at http://members.fortunecity.com/nat1228/archives.htm) until the demise of its webhosting service in 2012. The new collection of DVD captures is located on The Knight Watchman website at http://www.knightwatchman.net/.

Policies[]

All screen captures may be downloaded and used by anyone. However, if the pictures are reposted to the web, it is requested that a link to the archives be provided on the page.

History[]

The original archives were begun in the late 1990s as screen captures made by Nancy Taylor, Mel Moser, and Linda Sriro from video tapes. The archive site is dated 29 February 2000.

After the release of the second professional DVD set in 2005, a new collection of screen captures was begun in order to provide a larger, better quality collection of screen captures that would cover a wide range of subjects, including shots of guest characters, locations, and props. This collection was housed in a new archive, and updated after the release of the third DVD set in 2006.

In 2010, the web hosting service for the second archive imposed restrictions on the number of files permitted on the site. The Archive was preserved after webspace to host the actual screen capture files was offered by WiliQueen. They are therefore now stored on the WiliQueen's Woods website. However, for convenience, the collection is still accessed from the original web address.

Funding[]

The site is personally funded by Nancy A. Taylor. A PayPal link exists on the site for anyone who would like to help with the domain expenses. Any help is greatly appreciated and acknowledged.

Size[]

There is a total of 21,931 screen captures on the second archive. They are broken down as follows:

Season 1 (22 episodes): 6,328 captures; Season 2 (26 episodes): 6,472 captures; Season 3 (22 episodes): 9,131 captures.
