When the first factions were organizing at the time of FKWar 1, many of the fans who wished to affiliate themselves with Nick Knight proposed Nicholaaahs to be their faction name. During the first war, this term was employed by a number of the players. However, by the time of the second war, the name Knighties had become generally accepted.
